At whose feet do we lay the blame for Benghazi? President Barack Obama? House Republicans? Hillary Clinton? Or terrorist assholes? Just my best guess (which can’t be worse than the guesses of the Tea Party lunatics whom I provided links to below just so others could notice their near ecstasy and ponder how many more dead Americans and terrorists they would indulge to “save” us from our own President? A president who did what his predecessor couldn’t: brought bin Laden the justice he so deserved after 09/11/2001!) but I’ll take “terrorist assholes for $500, Alex!” These things are unfortunate but not unexpected when facing a new kind of enemy. We are not at war with a state (none could tangle with us and like the outcome). We are at war with an ideology that is hell-bent on our destruction. Make
Remind me again why we in this shit … Since when [is] making music about getting rich? Since when [is] making art about getting rich? – Kanye West Love him or hate him (few are in between), you have to admire the integrity and courage of standing strong in the face of unimaginable pressure from the label, his representation, and likely even his inner circle. Millions of dollars at stake for him personally (tens of millions for label) and he has resisted for at least this long, and maybe in perpetuity. I hope so. Aside from being one of the boldest, most talented hip-hop/spoken word artists alive today; his most redeeming quality is that the man speaks his unfiltered truth. Period. Few understand the integrity it takes to do that. How many “sold out” and became what he mocks here?

May finds not one but TWO films with Sean Huze on cable television! Both projects were amazing films I worked on as an actor. The first is In the Valley of Elah, written and directed by Oscar ® winner Paul Haggis, which is on Cinemax throughout the month. It was my first role in a major film and I would be fortunate enough to work with Tommy Lee Jones who received a Best Actor in a Leading Role Academy Award ® nomination for his performance. The film also starred Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon, Josh Brolin, James Franco, Frances Fischer, Mehcad Brooks, Roman Arabia (Vic Wolfe), and Wes Chatham. In addition to me, another infantryman, Iraq vet was cast: Jake McLaughlin. I hope at some point in my career to be part of a film that I am just as proud of as I am to have
You Can’t Go Home Again “You can’t go back home to your family, back home to your childhood … back home to a young man’s dreams of glory and of fame … back home to places in the country, back home to the old forms and systems of things which once seemed everlasting but which are changing all the time – back home to the escapes of Time and Memory.” The title of this novel became part of the common vernacular and proves Thomas Wolfe’s warning is as pertinent today as it was when it was published in 1940. While some argue it has become a cliche, I strongly disagree. A cliche is a truism that is no more intriguing as stating the sky is blue. Since this lesson painfully learned by Wolfe’s protagonist is constantly repeated over the eighty years
